Rapti Andriana

Dr Andriana Rapti holds a PhD in Organisational Behaviour/HRM and an MSc in Management with HRM both from the University of Bath, UK. She has previously worked as an Assistant Professor in Organisational Behaviour at the University of Nicosia and at Kingston Business School, London, UK. Prior to Kingston, she worked as a lecturer at the University of Bath and other academic institutions. She has been involved in a big number of research projects at the University of Bath and other top UK institutions and she has worked closely with practitioners on projects that received important funding from the government and other institutions.

Dr Rapti has published her work at top academic journals and she has presented her research at various international academic conferences (Academy of Management, European Academy of Management, European Association of Work and Organizational Psychology).  She has also received funding for her research; while a paper she co-authored on virtual teams received the “Outstanding Paper Award” in 2020. Her research interests include: employee engagement and its antecedents, employee commitment, fit perceptions and employees' attitudes in the gig economy. Dr. Rapti is a Certified Fellow of Higher Education Academy (HEA) and a member of various important professional and academic associations (CIPD, Academy of Management, European Academy of Management, EAWOP, CMI, GPMA), while she is an Honorary Member of the Panhellenic Literature Union.
