Livas Christos

Christos Livas is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the University of Patras, Department of Business Administration. He holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Piraeus and an MBA in Marketing from Cardiff Business School, during which he was awarded the ‘Sir Julian Hodge’ prize for academic excellence in Marketing Management. He also holds a PGDip in Taxation from ALBA Graduate Business School and a PhD in Advertising from the University of Piraeus. He has taught various marketing and research methodology courses as an Academic Fellow at the University of Piraeus and as an Associate Educational Faculty Member at the Hellenic Open University. Moreover, in the past, he has delivered courses at Greek and Cypriot postsecondary educational institutions, participated as a researcher in projects on behalf of the European Commission, worked as a business consultant and served at the Ministry of Finance. His published work includes articles in international peer-reviewed conference proceedings and journals, such as the Journal of Macromarketing, International Journal of Internet Marketing and Advertising, International Journal of Technology Marketing, Annals of Tourism Research Empirical Insights, Higher Education, Skills and Word-Based Learning, and Education and Information Technologies. His current research interests focus on advertising, digital marketing, social and macromarketing, tourism, higher education, and entrepreneurial orientation.
